Mr. Nonchalant

Monday, September 19th, 2011

We know guys like this: totally unflappable. A foul ball careening your way while you’re chatting on the phone? No problem.

We think he’s talking to someone who is watching the game on TV – notice how he holds the ball up to the camera?

We can imaging him saying, “No, keep going. I’m listening – I just had to catch a foul ball.”

Radar Glove

As most of us know, there’s a lot that goes into making top quality baseball gloves. Here’s a look at the work that goes into Insignia Gloves, based in Worcester, MA.

This glove manufacturer is proud that their entire operation is based in the U.S.A. Insignia is one of the last glove makers to make all-leather gloves in America.

There’s a good video here too. Worth a look.

Just in time for the holidays, here’s a tale of a real-life Grinch who robbed his local Little League of almost $2,000 in cash, merchandise and baseball equipment – including baseball gloves!

But wait, it gets worse.

This guy was a member of the local Little League’s Board of Directors. You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
