Just wondering if anyone knows the answers to a few questions:
1) How many feet of lace does it take to lace the average fielder's golve? First base mitt? Catcher's mitt?
2) How hard is it to have the lining of a baseball glove replaced? I know some of the glove repair places online offer this service. Can a local leather shop do an effective repair job?
3) How hard is it to replace the piping on a glove? So many gloves have the cheap vinyl piping. Is this something that is easy enough for a shoe repair or leather shop to remove and replace with actual leather for less than sending it in to the Glove Doctor and paying $50 or more to replace piping?
