I am a left handed pitcher/third baseman and I am looking for a good glove. I want it to last. My price range is from $150-220. I want it to have an open back/ closed web. Any suggestions? Please reply. Thanks!

You have many options in that range. Do you want new or used? Do you have a brand preference?

You probably are looking for 11.75 to 12.25" models.

Look at some of the online glove retailers and get an idea of models you like (both price and style).

If you can narrow your search to a haldful of models, you might have better luck seeking reviews from others on forums such as this.

In that price range you can pick up a Rawlings Heart of the Hide, Wilson A2000, Louisville Slugger TPX PRO, as well as the high end gloves from most other manufacturers.

I don't have any personal experience with Kelly or Glovesmith gloves, but I believe you can get into their custom gloves in that price range. I know there are guys who really like the Rolin and Barazza gloves that are made in Mexico. You can custom order those and I think their custom gloves would fall in your price range, but again, I don't have personal experience with their gloves.

I believe Rawlings custom gloves are going to exceed your price point.
