Rawlings Baseball Gloves
Rawlings is probably the most well known of all baseball glove makers, and has been making their gloves for more than 80 years. Rawlings makes both top of the line baseball gloves as well as inexpensive, low end Rawlings gloves that are made in Asia. The most expensive glove by rawlings is the "design your own" custom glove that the company sells for nearly $400! Players can choose from 8 different series of baseball gloves featuring more than 60 models of gloves from Rawlings.

Rawlings Baseball Bats
Rawlings baseball bats are available for every level of play from youth to college and the major leagues. For $30 you can find a basic aluminum rawlings baseball bat, or you can spend hundreds on a high end Scandium big stick model. Rawlings bats are increasing in popularity, although they are not nearly as widespread as Rawlings gloves. Rawlings "big stick" wooden bats are available for $30 to about $75 for the maple baseball bats.
Rawlings History:
Rawlings was founded in 1887 when George and Alfred Rawlings opened a retail sporting goods store in St. Louis.
In 1920, Rawlings introduced the Bill Doak glove which the company says became the prototype for all-purpose baseball gloves of the future.
The Rawlings gold glove award was established in 1957 to recognize fielding excellence.
In 1971 a new Rawlings baseball glove, named "Fastback" was introduced, with the major new feature being a closed back design.
Rawlings went public in 1994 and is now owned by K2 sports.
